Pastor James Waddell from Grant wrote on June 12, 2021:
My wife and I got to know Donna when we came to Life Care on the last Sunday of every month to conduct a Church Service in the dining room for those who wanted to worship.. Donna faithfully attended every service. She went out of her way to wheel in plenty of her friends and other people whom she had a deep concern for. Donna loved the Lord Jesus Christ with all her heart. She had a genuine concern for the lost souls of this world. She would tell me how she yearned for some of them to trust Christ as their Saviour before they died. She was instrumental in the three or four years that I was coming there to be a part of several folks in doing just that. After COVID we had to suspend the service at Life Care for the time being. I sadly discovered of Donna's passing when I looked at the Brownlie Maxwell site for another lady whom I knew and had heard of her passing. I worked with her daughter Karen in the medical field in the mid 1980's through the mid 1990's. Karen came to at least a dozen of the services my wife and I held. My heart goes out to Karen and Teri and those who are grieving for her loss. I am glad to say I know where Donna is right now. She is with Christ. Until we meet again. Donna was a gentle and kind lady. I remember her at Asbury Methodist Church - she always looked lovely and gracious. Her spirit lives on through her children and her grands.
