At 9:27am the morning of May 31, 2021, Jeanette Marion “Stein” Peterson went Home to be with Our Lord, Our Father, and His Holy Spirit. The immediate family gathered and surrounded her in the morning to celebrate the day of her 85th earthly birthday, May 31, 1936. When Our Lord called her Home, family, loving friends and neighbors awaited her arrival and gathered to celebrate her Heavenly Birthday the same day as well. She is rejoined at Home with her soulmate and husband of 55 years, Cliff, her youngest son, Sean, her Mom & Dad, Sammy and Sophie Stein, her in-laws, Eric and Ellen Peterson, all the extended Stein’s and Peterson’s, her Grand-Dog’s, Welly and Snickers, and so many loving friends and neighbors. Jeanette lived every day in love for Our Lord, loving Him with all her heart, and she loved one-another as Our Father so loves us. The two Commandments that Jesus asked of us are so very much a part of all she said and did in her earthly walk. The entire family, her loving friends and those she called neighbors, are so very thankful and blessed that she is in our lives. Mom-Mom, as she is affectionately known, leaves her son’s Curt (wife, Susan) and Daryl (wife, Karen), and Grandchildren, Katy, Chad, Josh, Jeni, Jeanette, Cody, and Grand-Dog Bella to carry on her legacy of love here on earth.
A celebration of life service for Jeanette is currently planned for Saturday, July 31, 2021, 11:00am, at Advent Lutheran Church, 1805 Oak St, Melbourne Beach, FL 32951, with a celebration luncheon for all who attend the service to immediately follow. In lieu of flowers, the family requests that a donation of choice be considered for either The South Brevard Sharing Center, The March Of Dimes, St Jude’s Children Hospital, or to Faith Comes By Hearing – Military Bible Sticks, all of whom Jeanette dedicated her time, talent, and treasures supporting.
