Mary Elizabeth Kesin

Born on December 4, 1946 in Queens, New York
Departed on January 11, 2022 in Melbourne, Florida

“I finally made the paper.”

Mary Elizabeth Kesin was a friend, sister, mother, grandmother and so much more. Mary was someone you could lean on no matter what and her door was always open to anyone. Not only would she listen to you but never forget because her memory was impeccable. Dates were her forte!

Mary will always be remembered for her cards on every holiday and birthday, her love for the arcade and lottery, her keen eye and passion for needlepoint and of course her ability to never stop talking.

Her family includes her children Ned (Andrea) Kesin, Jr., Kristin (Stevan) Kelly and Karen (John) O’Brien; very proud Grandma to Cyrena, Tristan, Madison, Brody and Shane and great grandchildren Waylon and RaeLynn; and nieces and nephews.

She was preceded by her husband Ned Kesin, Sr. on November 12, 2018.

Mary devoted her life to being a mother and grandma. She loved spending as much time with her kids and grandkids as possible. Always making sure to attend all of their many events, goofing around with the kids and making each other laugh.

She cherished each and every one of her friends as they meant the world to her. Her friends were like family and she adored her time with them eating out and hitting the slot machines!

A celebration of her life will be Saturday, January 22, 2022 at 1 pm at Brownlie Maxwell Funeral Home, 1010 E. Palmetto Avenue, Melbourne.

So many years ago Russ came home and said to me I am working with someone special and from that day we became forever friends. We were ever so close and then distance played a part.. but it didn't change our friendship. So now distance has played a part in our lives again but not in our memories or our hearts.. Love you my forever friend ..xo

Mary will be greatly missed. I will forever miss her and Ned. They were great people to know. Always had good times weather it was a gathering at their house back in the brandywine days or hanging out with them at the arcades with my folks, you would always be in the best of company with Mary. ❤️
