Paul Edward Sherman, 71, of Palm Bay Florida passed away on July 19, 2022 after succumbing to a prolonged illness.
Born on December 8, 1950 in Jacksonville, Florida to Jarrell Mills Sherman (1909-1997) of Atlanta Georgia and Mazie Elizabeth Goode-Sherman (1917-1994) of Palm Bay Florida. A US Navy veteran, he served honorably during the Vietnam War as an Aviation Ordnanceman aboard the USS Kitty Hawk (CV63). Paul is preceded in death by his older sister, Patricia Louise Sherman-Bishop (1942-1965) of Miami and wife Cynthia Anne Logue (1957-2014) of Hialeah Florida. He is survived by his daughter Rebecca Anne Sherman of Melbourne Florida, older brother Alexander Jarrell Sherman of Baton Rouge Louisiana, younger brother Richard Waters Sherman of Independence MO, younger sister Becky Sherman-Johnson of Melbourne Beach Florida, and grandsons Tyler and Tristan Sherman in addition to many nieces and nephews. Calling hours will be Thursday July 28 from 10am to 12 noon at the Brownlie – Maxwell Funeral Home. Graveside Military Honors will be provided by the US Navy at Cape Canaveral National Cemetery in Mims, Florida on Thursday July 28 at2:30pm.
