Robert Eugene Woodberry, also known as Bob, passed away on June 10, 2023, at the age of 60. He was born on December 1, 1962 in Charlestown, South Carolina to Elizabeth and Hoyt Woodberry.

Bob was a beloved husband to Emily for 25 years, and a cherished brother to Linda Thacker, Kathy Woodberry and Brian “Woody” Woodberry. He is predeceased by his parents and five brothers. He was also a proud stepfather to Ken Lawyer, loving father-in-law to Nicholle Lawyer and doting grandfather to five grandchildren – Haley 20, Ken 16, Danny 15, Lily 10 and Andrew 7. Bob was a loving uncle and great uncle.

Bob had a successful career as a Brevard County swimming pool contractor, King Center stage crew member, professional scuba diver and boat captain. He was an expert in his fields and his contributions will be greatly missed.

Beyond his professional pursuits, Bob had a passion for scuba diving and was an avid underwater hunter, salvage diver and Guinness world record holder for the first recorded world’s largest underwater wedding. He was also a local Venture Crew Scuba leader, dedicating his time to mentoring and inspiring young people.

Bob will be remembered by many for his adventurous spirit, kind heart and unwavering dedication to his family and community. He will be deeply missed by all who knew him.

Two Celebrations of Life will be held for family and friends to celebrate Bob’s life and honor his memory. The first is June 24 from at 4:30 pm to 6:30 pm at 6775 North US 1, Rockledge. The venue is the first house south of the Pineda Inn. The second is July 1, from 2 pm until 4 pm at the Beaufort Church of God, 641 Parris Island Gateway, Beaufort, South Carolina.
