Sarah L. Pass
Sarah Lorene Pass, age 100, peacefully passed away Wednesday, July 14, in Melbourne, Florida. Born in New Holland, Georgia, on October 30, 1920, to Alice Mae and Luther McGee, Sarah was raised in a large family of eight siblings in New Holland and Gainesville, Georgia. In the late 1950’s she moved to Cocoa, Florida, with her husband, Clyde, and her son Robert, joining a number of her sisters and their families as the Space Coast was beginning to boom. She later moved to Melbourne (then Eau Gallie) and enjoyed a long career at Radiation, Inc., in Palm Bay and then Harris Corp. before retiring from Harris as a Supervisor in circuit board assembly. She enjoyed a wide array of friends and was an avid competition team bowler, bicyclist, gardener, mother and wife. She maintained a close loving relationship with her large extended family throughout her life.
She is survived by her son Robert and daughter-in-law Jayne, her sister Betty Seymour, her grandchildren Allie McNair and Jeremy Pass, her newborn great grandson Jackson McNair, her nephew Tony Compton, her nieces Sherry Seymour Coburn and Robin Hurst and their wonderful children, and equally important, her loving and devoted caregiver and friend Karma Bonn.
Funeral services will be held at 11:00 AM on Monday, July 19, 2021, at Brownlie-Maxwell Funeral Home, 1010 Palmetto Ave., Melbourne, Florida, 32901, followed by interment beside her husband Clyde at 12:00 Noon at Florida Memorial Gardens, 5951 U.S. Highway 1, Rockledge, Florida, 32955.
