Wayne A. Zobel, 62, Melbourne, passed at his residence on August 6, 2021. He was born on May 31, 1959 to Homer L. and Shirley M. Brin Zobel in Omaha, Nebraska.
His family includes his daughters Heather Williford and Crystal Zobel; father Homer L. Zobel; sisters Trilica Southwick, Nicolette Wiebelt andDonna Caulfield; brothers Kevin Zobel and Scott Zobel; grandchildren Dominick Zobel, Sean Zobel, Alexiea Budreau, Breyanna Zobel, and Sky Budreau.
He was preceded in death by his mother Shirley M. Capen and his grandparents.
Wayne mentored friends at AA and counseled patients in drug and alcohol rehab. While maintaining his four-point grade average in college, he was working on his second Bachelors degree.
I met Wayne thru marrying into the family, and glad I got to see a transformation in Wayne that you don't see very often. I was proud of him and enjoyed talking with him. He had a great outlook on life and became very wise in his life choices, and helping others do the same. You will be misses by many friends and family. I prayed to God to have you healed and remain here but God had another plan for you, which I am sure you are finding out now about that. Even though, we all have sadness , we have to remember that GOD chose you to be with him. Have a great time up in heaven.
