Wilson D. Jones, from Rome, New York, was born on February 25, 1950, and went to be with the Lord on January 2, 2024, at the age of 73. Wilson is survived by his brother Wesley Jones; stepson, Paul Hartsock II; grandchildren, Robert Hartsock, Faith Hartsock, Wilson Hartsock; and great-grandchildren Dakota, Capri, and Cora. Wilson was a general contractor and architect who enjoyed traveling, classic cars, and a good old Western film. He attended Rome Free Academy and Utica University and graduated from Syracuse University. Wilson is preceded in death by his parents, William D. Jones and Janice Stiffler; wife, Faith Jones (Bokelman); siblings, William Jones Jr, Ruthann Jones, and Elwyn Glen Jones. He was a man of strong faith and taught us the importance of family, hard work, and doing what is right.
A memorial service will be held at Emmanuel United Methodist Church (the same church where his mother went and where he married Faith in 1986) at 2800 W. Eau Gallie Blvd in Melbourne at on Saturday January 27th at 11:00 am with a short reception afterward at Emmanuel’s Corton Hall.

Faith, My sympathies to you. It’s been a difficult ending to a long road for you all. When he left this Earth, he held you in his mind, pleased with what you have accomplished.
