Carole A Forsythe, age 81, passed away peacefully on April 27, 2021 in Melbourne, FL. She moved to the Melbourne area in the mid 70’s to start a new chapter in her life.

Other favorite pastimes included playing weekly card games with her friends, sharing meals with family & friends and quilting. She made many beautiful quilts that she shared with her family.
She was also a longtime Al Anon member and sponsor who touched many lives with her support and patience through out the years.
She is survived by her son, Robert C Hutchins (JJ) of Jacksonville, FL, a daughter, Sheri Anderson of Melbourne, 3 grandchildren Kelli Baird (Tom), Kate Snow (Robby) and Casey Baird (Chelsea). Carole and I were neighbors, and.she was a wonderful friend. Carole was a member of Mensa, and we loved to watch Jeopardy together, where she knew the answers to many questions. She was also very kind to my mentally disabled son and made him beautiful quilts with cats that he loved. She donated many items to NAMI for him.Carole was the Westwood Condo president many years, and because of her, we have a beautiful clubhouse and beautiful lights at our entrance, lovely sidewalk tiles and a refurbished hot tub. Carole was hardworking and extremely honest. She adopted a golden stray cat who became Ginger and gave her a loving home. I miss her so much. She was like my sister and an aunt to my son. When I look out my window and see her condo, it breaks my heart. There will never be another unique person like Carole, although she was greatly unappreciated by some of the neighbors here. She made everything she touched more beautiful. She knew the extent of her illness and bravely faced it until the end. She was a tough lady although in pain every day for the last year, and would say 'It is what it is." I miss my trustworthy confidant and her beautiful blue eyes and Massachusetts accent. She cannot be replaced.
