Charles Edward Covenah, 82 passed away Saturday, September 17, 2022 in Springfield, GA with his wife Barbara at his side.
He was born August 3, 1940 in Swainsboro, GA the son of W.D. Covenah and Myrtle Odum Covenah. He was preceded in death by his first wife Barbara Brown Covenah; his daughter Michelle “Missy” Hill; sister Rebekah Covenah Henry; and brothers, Dorsey Covenah and Roy Covenah.
He graduated from Robert W. Groves High School in Garden City, GA in 1959. He was a graduate of Southern Technical College in Marietta, GA in 1969. He was an electrical engineer retired from Florida Power and Light in 1998 after 30 years. He was a United States Air Force veteran and a member of the United Methodist Church in Melbourne, FL.
He is survived by his wife, Barbara Martin Covenah of Springfield, GA; his son, Derek Covenah of Melbourne, FL; grandsons, Austin Covenah of St. Petersburg, FL, Shane Hill of Melbourne, FL and Mason Covenah of Atlanta, GA; and a large loving extended family; and many nieces, nephews and cousins.

Visitation will be 12-1pm Saturday, October 1, 2022 at Brownlie-Maxwell Funeral Home in Melbourne, FL followed by a graveside service at Florida Memorial Gardens in Rockledge, FL at 1:30 pm. brownliemaxwell.com
