James L. LaRubio, 69, of West Melbourne, Florida passed at William Childs Hospice House on Thursday, November 11, 2021. He was born in Brooklyn, New York on January 12, 1952 to Leonard and Concetta Celano LaRubio.

His family includes his wife of 45 years Jerita S. LaRubio; sons James LaRubio, Daniel (Amanda) LaRubio, and Michael LaRubio; daughter Kari LaRubio; sister Lucinda Pagliughi; brother Leonard (Maria) LaRubio, and grandchildren Nathan, Tara, Bradley, Connor and Reagan.

He worked for 12 years as a supervisor with Brevard Achievement Center at Kennedy Space Center.

A celebration of his life will be on Saturday, November 20, 2021 at 2 pm at First Baptist Church of Melbourne, 3301 Dairy Rd, Melbourne, Florida, 32904. The service will be live-streamed on Facebook for those who are unable to attend the service. Please come with a memory of James to share in his guest book.
