Mary Louise Faucett

Sunrise April 14, 1935 in New York, New York
Sunset February 17, 2022 in Palm Bay, Florida

Mary Louise (Watkins) Faucett was born in New York City on April 14, 1935 to Sarah and James Watkins. She was the sixth of seven children.
She married her childhood sweetheart Billy Joe Faucett in 1956 and they were together until his death in 1993. They both lived in New York City for many years and eventually relocated to Palm Bay, Florida in 1983.
Mary deeply loved her children, grandchildren and great-grandchildren. She was a feisty soul, the life of any party and she never ever met a stranger. Her career was entirely based on helping people which lead her to work at Blue Cross and other health facilities. When she and Bill arrived in Florida they chose to attend the First Baptist Church of Melbourne and made it their home where she studied the word and taught Sunday school. She was an avid traveler who LOVED cruising, a creative cook and a professional shopper.
She will forever be remembered by her children Billy Joseph Faucett and daughter-in-law Dorothy; Jeneen Lynett Ryder and son-in-law Todd; her brother August Watkins (Susan); her in-laws Kezia (“Kay”) Faucett, Billie Jean Faucett, Richard Faucett, Judy Rivera; her grandchildren William T. Faucett (Sheena); Lawrence Faucett (Megan); Cheyanne Ryder (Najari) and Kiya Ryder; five great-grandchildren; a host of nieces and nephews, her loyal girlfriends and a host of other people too numerous to list here.
Services will be held at Brownlee & Maxwell Funeral Home on March 5th, 2022.
