Naomi Margaret Hartle

Born February 9, 1933 in South Pittsburg, Tennessee
Departed July 15, 2024 in Melbourne, Florida

On July 15, 2024 at 11:15 am Jesus opened the gates of heaven and said “Welcome home Naomi, my good and faithful child.”

Naomi Margaret Hartle was born on February 9, 1933 to Vera Mae (Anderson) and Oliver Edward Gemeinhardt.

She lived in Orlando, Florida most of her life but in her later years lived in Marion, Indiana and Concord, North Carolina before returning to Florida.

In her community, she was known as the “Butterfly Lady” as she raised Monarch butterflies in her beautiful flower garden.

Naomi raised three children Steven J. Elliott (Claudia) of Orlando, Robert W. Elliott, Sr. (deceased) and Wanda Elliott Farmer of Melbourne. She loved her four grandchildren Shelby Nicole Lanzarone, Robert Elliott Jr., Steven Maxwell Elliott and Joseph Elliott as well as three great grandchildren Eko, Fox and Rayland Rose Elliott.

She was beloved by all of her many friends and family and never met a stranger. We will miss her smile and the twinkle in her eyes. The world was a brighter place with her in it. Now heaven rejoices in her homecoming.
